A Thank You From Managing Partner Dave Iles

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

As I pause and reflect on the first nine months of 2020, I am feeling incredibly fortunate. Without a doubt, there are plenty of reasons to feel anxious, discouraged, and weary. It comes as news to no one that our community, our state, our country, and the whole world is in the midst of an evolving health crisis. However, upon reflection, on top of all other emotions, I am filled with gratitude because of our staff and our clients.

The beginning of the school year is an exciting time for every community. Members of our staff are sending children off to school from, Pre-K to college. While we all have adjusted to and learned to deal with the challenges of this strange time, anxiety remains a part of daily life. Some of our staff members have parents who are at higher risk of COVID-19 due to age or health issues. I am so incredibly grateful for how readily our staff has adapted to change and at the same time protected their family’s health, safeguarded their own health, and respected the health of their coworkers while continuing to work on behalf of our clients.

Let me take a moment to address our fantastic clients. The pandemic has affected each of them in their own way. We’ve all been pushed out of our comfort zones and together we’ve learned how to do business differently. Our clients have adjusted alongside us and for that, we are grateful. We understand that we’re lucky to have the clients we do and we thank them for their flexibility and understanding and for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of their lives.

Seeing how our staff, our clients, and our community have come together, I cannot help but be filled with optimism about the road ahead.

Sincerely,
